3 Spots To Hit Up In Chelsea Market

RE: BUZZFEED FOOD APPLICATION - 3 Spots To Hit Up In Chelsea Market

Are you a foodie? Never been to Chelsea Market before? I'm so sad for you. Chelsea Market is a legendary place where delicious foods flows in abundance. It's on 9th Avenue between 15th and 16th Streets and located in the main floor of the same building as Food Network's Headquarters. Yes, it's pretty legit.

One of my favorite things about Chelsea Market is that most of the places serve their food in smaller portions so you can really eat as little or as much as you want. So make sure you come hungry so you can try a variety!

There are many restaurants, eateries, stands, boutiques, and even a mini food market. If you've never been to Chelsea Market before then you may feel a little overwhelmed going there for the first time. Don't worry though, because I've got you covered! I'm giving you my top three favorite places in Chelsea Market.

    Lobster Place

Love seafood? Then you need to go to Lobster Place! They have some of the freshest seafood I've ever had before. They serve it in different ways too. You can eat in or get your food to go. There're so many options there: Sushi ready to take home or made to order, fresh seafood like lobster, crabs, shrimp, different shellfish, scallops, sea urchin and more! There's even a little market area where you can get fresh fish like salmon and tuna to take home to cook yourself.

    Los Tacos

Disclaimer: You will never look at a certain Mexican chain restaurant (you know which one I'm taking about) the same way again once you try Los Tacos. This place is the real deal! After I took my first bite here I thought to myself "all the wasted years!" So what's so special about Los Tacos? I honestly can't even explain in a way that'll do them justice. It could be the freshness or maybe the authenticity, but really they're just so damn good! You just need to go try them for yourself. Los Tacos serve simple yet delicious dishes like tacos (obviously), quesadillas, chips and salsa. Make sure you also try one of their delicious drinks like their horchata!

    Corkbuzz

You didn't think I'd be sending you on your way without a little bit of booze did you? No, I'm not like that. This one's for all the wine lovers out there. Finish up your Chelsea Market adventures with Corkbuzz! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about their wine. I was impressed with their variety. As someone who typically orders wine by the glass, I can say that most places don't have the best options for me but Corkbuzz didn't disappoint. They have different flight options all of which are delicious and I highly recommend. Anytime I've been unsure about what to order, my server took the time to make recommendations based on my specific taste and has never failed to bring the perfect glass of wine.

Oh, did I mention they have great food too? Typically lighter foods like salads, appetizers, and other foods that are great for wine pairing like their exceptional array of cheeses. Definitely the best place to cap off your day or night at Chelsea Market!
