A Charlie Brown Christmas Is A Heartbreaking Story Of Childhood Depression

Charlie Brown is a deeply depressed young man. Oh, you enjoy watching this classic "heartwarming" holiday cartoon every year? Well you must be a special kind of sadist, you creep. The lines spoken by poor Charlie are nothing short of heart-wrenching cries for help, unyielding pain torments him, no one cares.

Understatement of the 20th century.

Those of us who've suffered depression can relate, my friend.

Much too young to feel this kind of pain.

If this doesn't break your heart, I have to wonder if you even have a heart.

How is this even supposed to be a "feel good" children's cartoon?

Someone please get Charlie some help. This is heart-wrenching.

Where do we tolerate this level of cruelty?
