Baltic States Are Ready To Sign Their Own Death-Warrant For NATO's Sake
Donald Trump stated that Americans are no longer going to cover NATO's expenditures on their own and from now on all the expenses of the Alliance should be divided between all its members, which caused controversy in Europe. For instance, the Bundestag made it clear that it is not possible to enforce the expected 2% of GDP for defence matters before 2024 from the present level of 1.19%, and they are not speeding it up. Slovak oppositional party Kotleba – People's Party Our Slovakia even began gathering signatures to call the referendum on that country's NATO membership.
