Mercedes-AMG's F1-Based Hypercar - All You Need To Know

Celebrating AMG division 50th anniversary, the automaker is planning to release a new hypercar in the market, the Mercedes-AMG hypercar. The Recent report mentioned that the sports car is getting the F1 engine on it.

Mercedes-AMG Hypercar Gets F1 Engine

Mercedes-AMG Hypercar is reported to be a mid-engine sedan, with huge aerodynamic design and features to support its performance. Applying 1:1 power and weight ratio on the car, Mercedes-AMG is reported to use carbon fiber panels on its body to keep it light weight.

This is the big news. Evo mentioned the new future Mercedes-AMG Hypercar would get the F1 engine and that F1 engine needs the external power source to start, while it doesn’t know how it works actually. Mentioned in the report, there will be two engine powering the car.


Turbocharged V6 engine that generates 900 hp of power output is going to be the engine along with electric drive system, one on each of its front wheels that make 100 to 600 hp of power output. Transmission used is unknown right now, but it is estimated that the engine can sprint to 60 mph in less than 2.5 seconds with 220 mph of top speed quote.


Pricing on the car is unknown right now. However, it is also estimated that the hypercar will be offered on $4.45 million stickers.
