SmokSho.com Ad Pulled From Facebook, Users Complain The Site Objectifies Women

Facebook pulls ad for smoksho.com after negative feedback from viewers - so you know the site must be awesome.

SmokSho - a new e-store and photo blog featuring men's products displayed by underwear clad women was met with very mixed reviews upon launch yesterday. One review claimed the site is "sending the wrong message to young men." However, another viewer wrote, "F yeah, best idea in the history of e-commerce."

It appears that this site is attempting to test the age old adage that sex does indeed sell. The model team features some of the hottest girls in LA right now, and judging by the feedback on their social media accounts, their fans are loving it.

The company began a PPC ad campaign that was approved by the Facebook ad team yesterday. The ads however were quickly pulled after an outcry from viewers (mostly female we suspect), about the "suggestive" content featured on the site and concerns that the images "objectify women."

It's been said that you're nobody until you've got some haters, and if that is indeed the case then SmokSho is well on it's way to making a name for itself.
