    Ryan Gosling's "Drive" Teased Through A 9-Bit, Sega Genesis Filter

    The bad news: the game isn't really a thing (sigh...). The good news: the chiptunes are!

    John Fraser, a Canadian animator, has developed a fake title screen for 2011's Drive, as rendered in a throwback, pixelated fashion.

    He notes:

    "Not really for the Sega Genesis. Just for fun.

    9-bit colour, divvied up into 4 palettes of 15+alpha colours each, just like momma used to make. The song was made with an emulator for the Yamaha YM2612, the chip used to create the sound in the Sega Genesis."
