The 4 Night Clubs You Will Definitely Visit While Studying Abroad In Barcelona

Barcelona is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities and greatest hub for night life in the world. The party doesn't stop here and luckily for you, we have compiled the ultimate list for your week of non stop party. Just don't forget to go out and explore the city when you aren't too hungover.

1. Opium

This is by far the most famous club in all of Barcelona. The party starts at around 1:00 am and doesn’t stop until 6 in the morning when everyone walks to the beach to watch the sunrise. It sounds ridiculous but well worth it.

The place is always packed with an internationally diverse crowd from all over the world so you’re bound to meet some awesome people here too. You’ll learn quickly that the motto here is to sleep less and live more because really when else do you get to party beach side by the mediterranean?

2. Shoko

An asian-mediterranean themed huge nightclub that serves excellent food as a beach side restaurant during the day, Shoko is the place to head to on tuesdays after a good beer pong tournament/pre-game at George Payne’s Irish Bar.

A redbull vodka is key when going out, especially with the late nights that transform into early mornings in the blink of an eye.

These clubs can get hectic sometimes, so its convenient to head out onto the beach for a little break a couple times during the night and head right back in to party some more.

3. Bling Bling

Everybody loves Bling Bling.

The music they play always seems to be a little more crowd pleasing than some of the other clubs. Bling Bling has a little more a funky, colorful, fun environment opposed to the more modern and sleek Opium, or Asian inspired Shoko.

Most of these clubs do charge cover fees, but if you want to utilize one of the many guest lists that exist you can get in for free before 2 am. Oftentimes saying the words “Aashi guest list” at the door will be your key to free entry and non stop partying throughout the week.

It is really one of the open secrets of Barcelona nightlife and especially convenient for study abroad students who aren’t trying to make our money last throughout the semester.

4. Pacha

Pacha consistently has some of the coolest DJs come play at their club. Martin Solveig, Zaeden, even rapper Rick Ross is coming to Pacha this summer.

Theres no doubt this is the place to start off your week, as Pacha Mondays are some of the most popular and biggest parties in Barcelona.

Here its not hard to find a great place to go out literally every night and if you’re too hungover, you’re probably still going out. Thats what the magical environment of this place does to you.
