10 Reasons The World Should Love The Traynor

Michael Traynor is not a name likely to be well known beyond certain fandoms (The Walking Dead being the main one) but here are 10 reasons everyone should love that bloke they hated during the apocolypse.

1. He has the best hair on television

Now I know there are a lot of awesome 'dos out there, but if we were writing a list of the top 400 hairdos out there right now, Michael would be at the top. How can you not love those perfectly maintained curls? Like a crufts poodle just sat on that head of his. Top points for keeping that mane tamed, Traynor.

2. He is one of the most active people on social media...ever

Between photos of his gorgeous girlfriend Brooke Nevin, his cute wee pup Baxter and amazing behind the scenes photos on his instagram and his amazing willingness to reply to everything his fans tweet him, Michael is definately up there as one of the most responsive and active celebrities online. So go on, give him a tweet/like his instagram. You definately won't be disappointed. @traynorland for both.

3. He has some of the most creative fans going

Dolls, dragons, a billion drawing, dumpster cakes...this guy should open the worlds most random shop for fan art of himself. He could definately fill it in no time at all. Michaels fans might not be in their huge hoards like some of his co workers (I'm looking at you Norman Reedus) but when it comes to creativity they definately know how to work it.

4. He is one of the nicest celebrities to meet

Michael tends to visit nearly every Walking Dead convention going, and usually ends up being a fan favourite. The usual response is "wow...he is nothing like his character on the show!"

Michael gives 150% to his fans at conventions and this needs to be recognised. I've yet to speak to anybody who has been disappointed with their experience meeting the man of the hour.

5. He loves animals..especially his dog

1,2,3...AWWWW. What is more irresistable than a man who loves his dog more than the earth itself? Michael definately falls into that catagory of man. He talks about his pooch like he is his child, and it is ADORABLE. It helps as well that Baxter is one of the cutest celebrity dogs going (I'm biased of course) but Michaels constant instagram photos of his wee rescue doggy are definately a highlight on his account. Yes, rescue doggy. More points right off the bat for saving the cutie.

6. He can DANCE

Yes. Dance! Now I know you're currently picturing Nicholas from The Walking Dead breaking into some sort of crazy moves but I promise, this isn't a joke. Michael first got into acting through theatre and dance. Talk about diverse! I for one hope he dons his dancing shoes again in the near future, because that would be some awesome right there.

7. He is extremely diverse in his roles

One thing about a lot of actors is they seem to just stick to one genre, and if they do break away from that genre it tends to be for one quick side movie then bang back into it again. And whilst Michael hasn't been in a lot of huge hollywood flicks, he has done a diverse range. Drama, comedy, shorts, horror, theatre. ..you name it. Nothing can phase this guy...Traynor for batman anyone? ;)

8. He isn't scared to dabble in directing/writing/producing

Nope. Adding to the diversity of his roles, Michael has also dipped his toes into producing, writing, directing...most randomly is the fact he co wrote the dialogue for the Shrek 2 video game. I know, right? Told you he did everything. As well as this Michael has also helped produce, write and direct Tales From The Catholic Church Of Elvis and produce and write for TV show Underwater. He literally has the best CV going.

9. He is insanely handsome

I had to get this one in there, sorry. But look at this guy. Those eyes are to die for. That hair is a perfect little mountain of fluff on his head. And don't even get me started on those cheekbones and them lips. Dayum Traynor. I don't need to say much more on this...just look at him and it'll answer itself.

10. ...and on top of all that he is still just a normal guy

Yup. You'd think after being as amazing as this list lets you know he is, Michael would be far from normal...which I guess in a way he is but not in the "I'm better than everyone because I'm famous" way. ;)

Michael is literally one of the most down to earth people you'll ever have the pleasure of coming in contact with, whether that be on Twitter or at a convention. Heck you might even bump into him on the street.
