Hashtag, hey girl! I am currently at the mall! Did I tell you? My home is wide open and I won't be home for several hours. Want a new big screen television? Does this seem like a common occurrence? Initially, it might seem harmless, but announcing your daily activities on social media can lead to massive problems and loss. Announcing your home's vacancy is inviting a burglar inside.

People have gotten incredibly lazy in the past few years. If you even own a ladder at this point, you're a miracle worker. Of course, owning a ladder and putting it away like a good adult are two different things. Remember what you tell your children consistently? Put away your toys silly! Leaving your toys outside could give a thief easy entry into your home. Goodbye serenity.

A password is a wonderful thing, when it works correctly. Unfortunately, a lot of see it as nothing more than an inconvenience. We skirt around the sign-in and automatically allow the cookies to do our bidding. Others are even worse. Using the same password at 20 sites might seem like a good idea for convenience's sake, but it isn't. Don't do it. The idea is terrible and could potentially lead to problems in the future.

Cellphones are incredibly cool and fun. Unfortunately, some people take things a little too far. Walking down the road and texting is dumb, but driving and performing the same task is even more so. Keys can be a true pain in the butt. They're always hiding from their owners and they'll never fetch the newspaper. As a result, many will hide their key in a seemingly secure and concealed location for added peace of mind. Sure, this might seem like a good idea, but it is not! At this moment, you probably have a key sitting in your flowerpot, under your doormat or under your car's wheel well. If I know this, the thief will as well! Go and hide it immediately silly!
