    Beard Wins #bbcqt

BBC Question Time interrupted by peak beard. The Twittersphere was momentarily disrupted by the wonderfully whiskered jowls of the bored looking chap sat next to a fresh-faced youth.

    Update [17/04/2015]:

The bearded one has reached out, and given his thoughts on his Question Time experience..

    Check it out below.

Question Time opened as usual with the same white overly-male panel, this time live from London..

Everything was going spinningly, and the reaction on Twitter was somewhat.. lacklustre..

    Angus Robertson had been talking..

Dimbleby then turned to the audience for another question..

This fresh-faced youth posed a question.

However, everyone's eye was drawn to the man next to him..

    Twitter immediately exploded..

Who was the mysterious bearded man?

And what did he think of the debates swirling around his facial fronds?

    All we can guess is..

    Before continuing..

    You've been warned..

    Someone left the gate open..

    Twitter reacted as expected..

    Update: This is Jake

    1) Do you know clean-shaven chap?

"Young innocent clean-shaven chap was placed next to me, actually him and his friend were fighting over who didn't have to sit next to me!"

    *sad face*

    2) What was going through your mind as the camera panned round to your direction?

"SHIT, is Dimbleby pointing at me?!"

    3) Were you as bored as you appeared, or were you reflecting deeply on the panel's imparted wisdom?

"We had been there since 6, the topics of NHS, Housing and how everyone was going to make cuts to save the day had churned into one big conversation. I would like to say I was reflecting deeply on the panel's imparted wisdom but the truth is I was thinking about if the camera was pointing at me."

    4) Who were your most and least liked on the panel before you listened to what was said, and did #bbcqt change that?

"I was undecided before the panel but 1 million percent sure I wouldn't be voting for UDIC, sorry I mean UKIP. I'm still undecided, how is anyone to know who to vote for when each of the parties are talking about whom the other parties will end up in bed with."

    5) Your most and least favourite part of that night's show, and do you watch normally?

"I do normally watch, it's the one political show that gets chaired in a way that allows the general public to interact with the people who run our country. My favourite part had to be the way the majority of the crowd dismissed anything UKIP said, and my least favourite part had to be being in a room of UKIP representatives!"

    6) Just how do you maintain such a lustrous facial feature, and would you have any words of encouragement for the bald-faced amongst us?

"A dashing of Love, a sprinkle of Care and above all, Time. Love your beard and it will love you back."

    7) Lastly, have you decided who you're voting for?

    "None of the above."

    And with that..

Thanks Jake - here's hoping we see you and your beard gracing our screens again sometime soon! Clearly the highlight and firm favourite of this week's Question Time!
