My BFF and I have been going strong for 17 years. Our parents are family friends, and I’m not sure exactly when we met, but our friendship was decided one morning in Sunday school when she was 3 and I was 6. Another girl was trying to play with me, but she got jealous and pushed her over, the rest was history. Since then, we’ve grown through an intense Hillary Duff fangirl phase, awkward puberty looks and some of the toughest times of our lives together.

We never fail to make each other laugh, and I don’t know what I would do without her. I’m so glad she won that Sunday school battle all those years ago.

"10 years in the making right here. We met in gym class, we called ourselves gym class heros because we thought we were cool, and have been inseparable since. He’s my ride or die, and my backbone. We pulled each other out of the closet, him first, we were sitting on a picnic table talking when I got him to come out to me.

A few years later, he called me out, as BFFs do, he told me how it was and got me to come out as well. We’ve been through everything together, stupid boys or girls, deaths, trips, everything. He moved five hours away, but the distance didn’t come between us, it truly only made our hearts grow fonder. I miss him dearly, but beyond proud! this is my forever best friend."
