Tony Awards 2014: There's No Business Like Show Business

Broadway's brightest stars hit the red carpet Sunday night for the Tony Awards to be recognized for their acting & singing but let's give them credit for their fashion skills.

Audra McDonald in Escada

McDonald won her sixth Tony last night making her the most awarded actor in Broadway history. I think the gown is a tad long but the black beading on the flower print is gorgeoussssss. She should have given us a slicked-back high ponytail.

Lena Hall in Zac Posen

A personal favorite of mine for the evening. Hall's performance for "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," requires her to don male drag throughout so I'm glad she let her sultry side show tonight. I love how the draping at the bust gives a cape-like effect. Learn how to pose. Bad accessories.

Maggie Gyllenhaal in Dolce&Gabbana

Something that is pretty but gets more confusing as you scroll down. I get the idea of a sheer overlay with feather trim but this just looks a little sad. It's the Tony's. This is where sn obscene amount of feathers would've been welcomed.
