10 Ways I'd Bring Kind And Kindness To The University Of Arizona

Sometime kindness is a small smile to a stranger, and sometimes it's giving a delicious Kind Bar to a student running late to their 8 a.m. This is how I would spread Kind and kindness to all the Wildcats at U of A.

1. Set up or strengthen Kind at U of A social media accounts

Every strong campaign begins with a social media presence to spread the word as far as possible. While I may not be able to personally speak to every Wildcat, they'll still be able to hear my message through social media posts.

2. Increase Presence in Greek Life

I would attend chapter meetings and speaking about the Kind philosophies and products. My goal would be to attend one chapter at least every other week. I could also create competitions within the Greek community to unite all the chapters.

3. Host Events on the University Mall

The Odyssey Online

Tent events with tabling or impromptu frisbee games or relay races. Anything fun that draws the attention of students.

4. Become More Involved at the Rec Center

Kind promotes healthy living which goes hand-in-hand with exercise and workout centers. I'd plan on walking around and giving bars to those who are clearly working hard or even just speaking words of encouragement. Also, co-hosting events or organizing mini competitions featuring the Kind brand could be very beneficial.

5. Create Partnerships With Specific Colleges

For example, in Eller we could utilize the business students and entrepreneurial thoughts to help us grow our brand. While in the medical school we could have students analyze Kind products health benefits to see how promoting our product will help their patients.

6. Give Out Smiles

"A snack with a smile". Every sample I'd give would have a smile and a kind word with it.

7. Library Walk Throughs

Many late, stressful nights in the library leave students with little options for food when they're starving at 3 a.m. Around midterms and finals I find myself in the same situation. If someone were to walk through and pass out a little snack to keep me going I would praise the floor they walked on. Thus, I'd really like to incorporate doing a sample distribution around finals and in the tense hours of the early morning. While it's not a conventional way to market, people will remember the snack that got them through the night.

8. Stress Release Kind Box

Sometimes there's something in your life that's happening that causes a great deal of stress or anxiety. I'd create a box that anyone can write and leave their stresses in. While they won't be fixed, being able to articulate exactly what's causing trouble in your life can be very therapeutic. After placing their stress in the box, I'd pass them a small note of kind words to encourage them.

9. Produce Short Videos About the Product and Philosophy

Short videos dominate the internet now a days and why couldn't ours? Creating a short clip or even extend it to a small documentary would definitely get people talking and interested in what we're doing.

10. Finally, I'd Represent Kind and Bring Kindness to Everything I Do on Campus

Being a Kind University Ambassador requires that I am the most accurate depiction of what the brand is and stands for. Even when I'm not passing out samples or tabling on the mall, I will always be kind to strangers and friends alike.
