These drawings were made by the artist Francis Tsai. Tsai was a prolific illustrator, creating concept art and images for a multitude of outlets, including Magic The Gathering cards, Dungeons and Dragons manuals, and Marvel comic books.
Unfortunately, disaster struck Tsai in 2010 when he was diagnosed with ASL (Lou Gehrig’s disease—a disease that eventually leads to nearly total paralysis). After losing the use of his hands and feet, Tsai’s spirit wouldn’t let him quit. He started drawing with his eyes via the help of a Tobii eye-tracking device.
