Good sirs, aside from the fact that it is not possible for a form of theatrical athleticism to be “gay” in of itself, it is furthermore inane to suggest that something can be both fake – in the definition of “fake” that suggests that something is a forgery or imitation – and to be gay simultaneously. Unless you are suggesting that the events and individual wrestlers by their very nature do not exist at all and are instead some kind of highly efficient illusion tricking us into thinking that they are indeed living human beings.

Oh, but another thing too; people who watch and enjoy professional wrestling know what it is. Ironically it is the people constantly feeling the need to point out the issue of it being “fake” who have failed to grasp the concept of it, which is the very thing they seem to be trying to convey the other way around. Presumably these people get no enjoyment from any kind of fictional media such as; movies, television, books, video games, music, music videos and the like and live in a completely fiction, reality-based bubble. Which is a shame – because they can all pretty awesome.
