After a six month hiatus, Robin, Blair, and Lilli have something to say about what the stars wore on the Emmys red carpet- and they didn't hold back. Check out their take on the best and worst of the night.

R: Beautiful color, really interesting design on this dress. She looks fabulous.

B: Everything about her and her dress is spot on!

L: Basic. Safe. Pretty. Sometimes it's better to not make a statement. So this is a win.

R: A serious, heavy dress with a contradictory cut-out. I wish she had worn color and a softer hairstyle. Sorry, Rachel.

B: Can’t say anything bad about our local girl but thought the dress was interesting…in a good way.

L: This is a look for Meryl Streep, or Jessica Lange, or even Julia Roberts! This is not a look for a beautiful young woman in her twenties! So serious and severe! At the very least, I wish she would've worn her hair down.

R: I don’t know who you are, but this color is ALL WRONG on you! You need some contrast.

B: She looked like a marble statue. Get some color on, girl!

L: Sorta like a 1920s Grecian Goddess type look? Is that what this is? Do I sorta like it? I'm not really sure what I think. On the one hand, it's sorta an interesting look; on the other hand, poor Gwendoline sorta blends into the wall. Literally. My conclusion: meh.

R: Something different and modern. She looks great! One of my favorites of the night.

B: She always has a bold look and I liked this. Would’ve liked some lip color though.

L: I don't like the color of this dress on Claire, and I don't like the weird, randomly placed chains. It's not the dress for her. Maybe someone else. And I especially don't like the light, soft, feminine hair and make-up with this very bold gown choice. Claire (or her stylist) could have done a lot better.

Lady Gaga

R: She looks beautiful. Nice to see her looking so classy for a change, but I hope she doesn’t do this too often! Oh, and I recommend some Dermablend cover-up for those tats — for an understated, elegant look.

B: She surprised us but in a good way. Looked beautiful.

L: Sometimes a basic black, perfectly fitted dress is the perfect choice. Lady not only looks like a lady, she looks like a true star.

Naomi Grossman

R: Yes, you really are an American Horror Story in this getup.

B: Don’t know who she is but that dress was horrible. Could’ve been a costume from an old Laugh-In show. I don’t want to see her belly button or that scowl on her face.

L: She made a bold choice, she owns it, and it works. I love everything about this look: the geometric print dress, the pixie haircut, the red lips, and those huge, fabulous earrings. She rocks it!

R: I just can’t decide about this dress. Either it should win best use of crepe paper, or it is actually a beautiful and intricate piece of wearable art.

B: Upholstery fabric remnants perhaps? Did not care for this at all.

L: At first I hated this big, bold flower print, but now it's starting to grow on me (no pun intended). The dress fits well, and Kathryn looks really beautiful. So who am I to ask whether she moonlights as a flamenco dancer?

R: If this dress were neon orange, you would look like a traffic cone! Unflattering.

B: Stunning. Love the color on her.

L: For me, the casual mussed hair and arm tattoos just do not mesh well with this stiff, formal gown. Sometimes, that contradiction works. Here, it doesn't. Maybe I just hate this odd, bulky dress. Sloppy.

R: I think we all know you have curves without you accentuating them even more.

B: We know she’s curvy, but this dress did nothing for her other than make her look dowdy. Disappointing.

L: Christina is a beautiful, full-figured woman, and she doesn't try to hid it. This dress celebrates ever last curve. I like that, and I like her.

R: Love this look on her. Styling is perfect, especially the hairstyle. One of the best looks of the night.

B: Thought she looked fantastic. Cookie rules!

L: I just love her, so I want to give her the benefit of the doubt..... Yeah, I think I'll give her the benefit of the doubt: If anyone can get away with wearing a nightgown to the Emmy Awards, it's going to be Taraji. And those chunky metal shoulder straps are fierce!

R: It’s a great color on you, and you obviously have a fabulous hair stylist, but next time, you really need to shop somewhere other than the cruise ship costume closet.

B: Liked nothing about this other than the color. Looked like it could’ve come from H&M or Topshop.

L: Great color… What more can I say? I just hate jumpsuits.

L: This is an ill-fitting, unflattering, bad choice. Looks like something I wouldn't have purchased at a cheap department store in the 1970s. She needs to fire her stylist.

B: Hideous. Did she take her grandmother’s needlepoint? Maybe it was her idea of a joke… she IS married to Andy Samberg, after all. She looked like the American Gothic woman went to the Emmys.

L: What a fabulous idea! If Joanna gets bored with the Emmy festivities (and who could blame her?), she can simply detach the embroidery hoop from the front of her dress and finish stitching her sampler!

B: I suspect she went to leave the house with just the dress and her mom made her put leggings on because it was too short.

L: It's hard for me to say anything negative about a kid... but I don't like the outfit. It almost looks like she grew out of her favorite party dress, couldn't stand to part with it, so threw it on with a random pair of black leggings and called it a top. But her hair and makeup looked beautiful!

L: Is she pregnant? If so, then I love it! If not, then it just looks she wrapped herself in a piece of sequined fabric and called it a day. Boring.

B: Liked the dress until I scrolled down to see the Playboy Playmate shoes. Lip color, please!

L: Interesting dilemma here. I want to say that the dress is cute and flattering (although the hem could probably benefit with plus or minus 10 inches in either direction), but the fabric reminds me of an old bathrobe -- particularly when paired with marabou bedroom slippers. Slumber party chic, if that's actually a thing.
