Where Does The Money From The Staff Giving Campaign Really Go?

OK, so you have received the e-mails. You have seen a growth tracker, MTLD-style e-mail, progress to goal barometer, and the adorable kindergartners. You may have even spoken with eager JDB CMs who tried convincing you to hand them some cash for the cause. But let's be real. You just want the dirty facts. Where does your donation really go? Well, we at the Junior Development Board have decided to let you all in on our little secret(s)...

A $5 Donation gets a TFA lanyard for one of those bright-eyed, stressed out incoming CMs at Baltimore Induction. *Yawn*

But we know you can do better than that...

A $15 Donation gets one of those cool USB thingies that CMs will cherish for their their entire teaching careers and beyond. That is, until they lose it..

WOMP WOMP

A $25 Donation buys a Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner for a staff member, alumni, CM, or friend who attends a seminar, luncheon, cocktail party, session, or meeting that has anything to do with TFA.

'Nuff said.

A $40 donation will get some much needed air fresheners for the classroom of a select few middle school teachers...

Diffusing the odor of smelly pre-teens...YOU CAN HELP US IN THIS CAUSE.

$50.

$50 is the real deal. It's the average amount we would need from every Baltimore Staff member to reach our goal (well, the number is $47, but we're rounding up). So for this one, we'll keep it real: you give more than $50 could ever buy us as an organization. You dedicate your careers to this organization, to the students, to the corps members, and to the alumni. Together, however, your contribution to this particular campaign would start off the fundraising campaign auspiciously. When we go to the alumni, to the corps members, and to the families, we will go to them knowing that our own Staff is behind us in this cause. That alone will mean a lot to us as a Junior Development Board and as a fundraising team.
