My tribute to one of the magnificent actor who gave us wonderful memories by his performances. Words cannot express my feelings. But I shall try.

It's was raining heavily with the thunder and lightning almost everywhere. Something that I have not seen for a long time. I was outside after the night bazaar. Soaking in water from the rain, after being stranded in a downpour.

I decided to check my Facebook. After 10 minutes of the announcement of Alan Rickman death. I thought it was a hoax. So to confirm it. I search on google. :( I was devasted to find out this was true.

So here's my tribute and some information about Alan Rickman.

Thank you for all you have given us through your performances and existence to our world. We needed it and thank you for being part of my world for so long.

Rest in Peace. I felt the Angels weeping for you as I heard the lightning and the thunder noise.

Alan Sidney Patrick Rickman

Alan Rickman was born as Alan Sidney Patrick Rickman.

Alan meaning (Celtic) Harmony, stone, or noble. Also fair and handsome.

Sidney meaning (English) Wide Island, wide meadow

Patrick meaning (English) Patrician, noble

So indeed he was harmonious, noble and one of the "richest" human being from the heart that I know from my heart.

Background

Alan was born in Acton, London on 21 February 1946 to Bernard Rickman and Margaret Doreen Rose.

His father died when he was eight years old. Alan got three siblings. One older brother, David. A younger brother, Michael and a younger sister, Sheila.

His ancestry was English, Irish and Welsh; his father was Catholic and his mother a Methodist.

He was excellent in calligraphy and watercolour painting. Also, he had a great deal of respect for writers. Also one of the interviews. I remember that Alan enjoys reading.

Severus Snape

Alan Rickman is better known in the Harry Potter movies as "Severus Snape".

His performances shall always be remembered as Severus Snape by our Harry Potter generation.

Sheriff of Nottingham

Let's not forget his remarkable performance as Sheriff of Nottingham in "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves".

One of the best villain in the history of movies villains if you ask me.

Colonel Brandon

But I shall always remember his wonderful performances as Colonel Brandon. I was completely smitten by the role. Actually I read the book first and fell in love with the character.

There are other wonderful performances by Rickman but alas, I can't go one forever.

May you rest in Peace wherever you are! You left us a wonderful memory to us by your performances and your existences.

My condolences to your family and loved ones.

Alan Rickman lost his life to cancer on 14 January 2016. He was 69 years old. He joins David Bowie.

Absolem the Caterpillar

Absolem the Caterpillar. Alan was the caterpillar in Tim Burton film "Alice in Wonderland (2010)" and the latest movie "Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016).

Love Life

Love Story! Alan Rickman met the love of his life when he was 19 years old. Rima Horton was 18 years old and she was his first girlfriend.

They stayed together since 1977 till his death. They got married in 2012.

50 years they have known and love each other.
