The Girl and The Dreamcatcher, featuring real-life couple Dove Cameron of Disney Channel's Liv and Maddie and Ryan McCartan of RHPS, is one to watch this year. While both may have met on a Disney Channel show and are kid-friendly, their sound is definitely something people of all ages can appreciate. Granted, the duo's first single 'Written in the Stars' was not the best way to introduce TGATDG to the world. Dove and Ryan quickly redeemed themselves with their second single 'Glowing in the Dark', a song with a haunting melody and music video to match. The Girl and The Dreamcatcher proved to be more than just a phase for the two with the release of 'Someone You Like' which is leaps and bounds ahead of their previous singles despite being the first song they had written together. They recently announced the release date of their fourth single 'Make You Stay' out June 17th, which will be a track on their upcoming Negatives EP set to be released later this month. There are so many things I could say about TGATDC, but listen below to form your own opinion!
