NBA player Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna died in a tragic helicopter crash on Sunday, and today Beyoncé is paying her last respects.
The singer's relationship with Kobe dates back to at least 1999, starting with his appearance in the music video for Destiny's Child's "Bug a Boo":
In 2009, Beyoncé told ESPN's Hannah Storm that she identified with Kobe's work ethic. "I can always see that he's focused. He works harder than I could ever imagine. It's just like he's in the zone. He's just undeniable as far as his talent and his gift," she said.
