If you live on Earth, you might have noticed that a lot of people are overweight and otherwise physically inactive. After long hours in front of a screen at work, people spend long hours isolating themselves to watch tv. Online social-networks have been shown to often make their users less social and more self-focused.
Tivity, still in beta stage, just launched a beautiful new landing page.
To help people find things to do and people to share the experiences with, Tivity's founders decided to create a social-health network using crowdsourcing.
Tivity provides users with precise information created by people passionate about what they do, whether it's basketball, spelunking or parahawking (look it up ^^).
The (free) website is quickly gaining momentum and traffic. A community of health conscious individuals is forming- it's a great opportunity to get active and social!
