She taught me all about style. This was around 1997, and her high waisted shorts are in style again today.
She loves to have fun and never fails to make me laugh.

She's also a great Grandma (or as the grandkids call her, MiMi) and loves them with every ounce of herself.

She's up for anything. If I ask her to go to a Selena festival with me, she's there, dancing and singing along to "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom." If I ask her to break out an opera song, you better be prepared for some window shattering.
If I ask her to drop what she's doing to take a selfie with me, you better believe those duck lips will come out in full force. She's the best.
My mom is my best friend in the world. I know for a fact that she will always have my back and that I can count on her always.
She is my biggest inspiration in life and she makes me want to be a better person. I couldn't ask for a better mom! Happy Mother's day Mama.
