Promising review: "I'm a newbie when it comes to home improvement and I wasn't sure how to caulk my tub but I watched YouTube videos and thought I could figure it out. I scraped off all the old caulk with a utility knife/scraper (this took about two hours because I had multiple levels of caulk). I added painter's blue tape to create a line so that after caulking I would just remove the blue tape without an issue (similar to painting). Then I proceeded to use this caulk. No gun needed. Just open and squeeze. I used my wet finger to press down to make sure it is completely in. Immediately after, I removed the blue painter's tape and waited 72 hours until it was dry. Then I applied the Sashco Sealants Clear Lexel Adhesive Caulk because I wanted an extra level of protection. This is clear and you cannot see the mess at all so I didn't use the painter's blue tape. I waited another 72 hours. It all worked out beautifully and now my tub has perfectly white edges all around. It has held up very well. I did this about four months ago." —Rose S

Promising review (for the brass plate covers): "So happy I found this! I replaced a solid brass wall plate, which constantly had to be wiped down and re-shined from fingerprints. I live in a home that was built in the '90s so it has gold accents EVERYWHERE. This has enough of the brass in it to match with everything without being too much. It came with the hardware and was easy to install." —MB!

Promising review (for the nickel plate covers): "I installed these in an older bathroom (much of the 1950s decor remains) and they add a nice vintage touch. The metal is not highly reflective and is closer to a brushed look, which is great for disguising fingerprints. When the light switch is frequently the first thing someone looks at and reaches for in a room, having a quality cover like this gets noticed and enhances a room very easily. I can't believe I'm still writing about how much I enjoy a light switch cover." —Tom Generic Dude

    33. A motion-activated toilet night light that'll turn your bathroom into the late night disco it's meant to be.

The motion detection is also very sensitive, so it turns on when everything is totally dark if I walk near it. Super easy to install. 34. A toilet bowl ring remover for scrubbing away any rust or lime buildup on your porcelain throne.

Promising review: "The house I recently moved into had a hard water line in the toilet and it was no big deal for the first couple of months. I never really paid much attention to it. That is, until my mom said she would be coming over for a visit. Suddenly, the hard water line in the toilet was glaring at me, making me feel like a disgusting human being living in filth. I had to get rid of it. A kitchen sponge and a dish cloth were both ruined in my attempts. Finally, after countless hours of research and many sleepless nights, I had my answer: The Pumie. As soon as it arrived I was on my hands and knees scrubbin' that bowl. After it was done I was stood over my toilet with the same posture as a successful climber reaching the summit of Mt. Everest. I had defeated the hard water line with The Pumie. The satisfaction I had by accomplishing this otherwise mundane task made me realize I had truly entered adulthood. But, I did not stop there. Hard water marks around the bathroom sink drain? Gone. Hard water lines around the kitchen faucet? GTFO. The Pumie is truly a marvel to behold and I will be eternally grateful for its help in vanquishing the hard water lines that would have made my mother disown me." —Cory Heslington

Get it from Amazon for $11.40.

    35. A luxurious bidet to not only help you save the planet (no trees = less pollution), but also your bum from rough tee pee. Attaching to any two-piece toilet in minutes, this bidet will have you living like royalty for months to come.

Promising review: "I have to admit, I was completely skeptical of this product, and of bidets in general. After my husband did some international traveling, he came home convinced that we needed more sanitary toilet habits. So he ordered this small bidet conversion kit.

After having this unit for a year now, I have completely converted. The one toilet we have it on in the house is my favorite toilet, and there is no disadvantage to having this product! Meaning, it just sits there on the side of your toilet and you don't have to use it if you don't want to. It doesn't make a noise. It doesn't interfere with flushing or the water level. It doesn't get dirty. It has a self-cleaning mechanism if you wanted to wipe it down, or you can with a Lysol wipe.

You just turn it on and click how forceful a stream of water you'd like. Then a small stream of water shoots out the plastic box at your you-know-where! It is cold and takes some getting used to, as an American not used to this sort of thing, but you do not have to worry about the spray going out of the bowl since you are basically covering up the entire opening of the toilet seat when you are sitting on it. As the mom cleaning all the bathrooms in the house, this issue was very important to me. I did not want to have to clean up bum water!" —Will Riddle

Get it from Amazon for $37.84+ (available in three colors).
