Carole Baskin Speaks Out About Being Tricked Into A Prank Interview With YouTubers Pretending To Be Jimmy Fallon

"It gave us a very welcome good laugh."

As you might remember, Carole Baskin wasn't asked to be part of the Netflix Tiger King follow-up special, so she hadn't done an on-camera interview giving updates on life after the hit series.

Well, YouTuber pranksters Josh Pieters and Archie Manners tricked Carole into giving her first on-camera interview since Tiger King, making her think she was going to appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The YouTubers shared the video on Sunday, with Carole being seemingly oblivious to what was going on.

While Carole didn't say anything scandalous, the prank obviously worked.

Now that the truth is out, Carole spoke to Us Weekly about the prank, and it turns out she's actually okay with it.

"I was suspicious as we were doing it because the questions appeared taped. But had no idea it would turn out to be such a fun prank," she said. "It gave us a very welcome good laugh. I appreciate their cleverness and that they created their video in a way that I don’t feel was in any way mean-spirited.”

Good on Carole for being a cool cat about it!
