Michelle Obama Is Launching A Cooking Show On Netflix And I, For One, Can't Wait To Watch

    Just because I'm not a child and I don't have kids doesn't mean I won't be watching.

Former first lady Michelle Obama has clearly been busy since she left the White House. She released a memoir and has consistently left us in awe of her fashion style.

Former US President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, wearing a matching turtleneck, pants, belt, and long winter coat, arrive for President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration

But she's not slowing down any time soon. Michelle announced today that she has a new Netflix children's show called Waffles + Mochi!!

I’m beyond thrilled to share that on March 16, I’ll be launching a new show on @Netflix called Waffles + Mochi! I'm excited for families and children everywhere to join us on our adventures as we discover, cook, and eat delicious food from all over the world.

In the series, preschoolers will get to tag along as adorable puppets Waffles and Mochi go on culinary adventures around the world.

A furry puppet with frozen waffle ears, wearing protective flight goggles, is seated next to a round mochi puppet, wearing a helmet inside a flying go-kart

And if the budding chefs need a little help to find ingredients or tackle recipes, supermarket owner Mrs. Obama is ready to help!

Michelle Obama, wearing an apron, sits in a rooftop garden and places a chef's hat on Waffles who is holding Mochi

With a beautiful garden like this, I can foresee some delicious meals when the series launches on March 16.

I don't have kids, but I'll definitely be watching. Let me know in the comments if you'll be tuning in to Waffles + Mochi with or without your little ones!!
