Mulan's Love Interest In The Upcoming Disney Live-Action Remake Has Been Cast

    Li Shang is CANCELLED.

So, bad news first: Apparently, everyone's favorite Chinese army captain and Hun-slaying thirst trap Li Shang will not be featured in Disney's upcoming live-action remake of Mulan. (Please take your time to grieve.)

But NOW, onto the good news: Mulan will have a new love interest named Chen Honghui, and according to an exclusive from The Hollywood Reporter, he's going to be played by this ZADDY:

Exclusive: Disney casts #Mulan love interest https://t.co/IV6KjsbXio

The zaddy's name is Yoson An, and yes, I already found his Instagram.

An is a Chinese-born, New Zealand-raised cyoot patoot, who, according to his Twitter, "feels first and thinks second," "has a thing for green tea," and describes himself as a "part-time ninja" in his bio.

Let me just tell you, the Huns are SHAKING.

The Hollywood Reporter describes An's character, Chen, as "a confident and ambitious recruit who joins Commander Tung’s unit." So yeah, he's def not Li Shang.

Naturally, Twitter had some ~reax~ to all this.

    Both good...

    ...aaaaaand not so good...

    But regardless of it all...

I'll guess we'll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, Yoson An: Call me!!! 💁💁💁
