19 Cats In Christmas Trees Whose Prey Is Exclusively Ornaments And String Lights

    Merry little murderers.

    1. Cats in Christmas trees are just so adorable.

    2. Sure, they can knock down the Christmas tree and ruin the holiday for everyone...

    3. ...but if you think about it, they're really just mini jungle cats trying to seek refuge amongst the piney boughs.

    4. You may think they're just being cute...

    5. ...but they're really stalking their multicolored LED prey.

    6. (And they're prepared to strike at any given moment.)

    7. They're masters of camouflage...

Alright guys let’s play a game: every morning we find my cat in a different place in our Christmas tree and take a picture. Screenshot when you find him😂😂

    8. ...and you won't find them until they WANT you to find them.

    9. But sometimes, they just like to chill amongst the lights and ornaments.

    10. Other times, they daydream about being wild mountain cats, braving the Earth's natural elements.

    11. Hiding in the brush, hunting for survival instead of sport.

    12. Wishing misery and suffering upon any creature who dares to cross them.

My advent calendar is just me pulling my cat out of the Christmas tree every day.

    13. But after they've had their moment, they just go back to chillin' in the tree.

    14. Like, "Don't mind me, I'm just boopin' lights and things!!!"

    15. "I'm totally innocent!!!!!!"

    16. Ya know, until they spy that dangly-ass angel ornament.

    17. Basically, Christmas trees bring out the suppressed jungle beasts within house cats...

    18. ...and even though cats can be the ABSOLUTE WORST around the holidays...

    19. ...we wouldn't have it any other way.
