7 Reasons Why Halloween Is The Best Holiday

Okay, I'll give it to you, Easter is cool, Christmas is a blast, and yeah, Thanksgiving has some good eats, but Halloween is and always will be the best damn holiday out there.

1. CANDY

This is number one for a reason.

Nothing says Halloween like young children running through the streets on a sugar high.

2. Tim Burton

Tim Burton may not only make Halloween movies, but that shouldn't stop you from binge watching everything he has ever made.

3. Horror Stories

Movies can be fun, but nothing does it like an old scary story.

So go ahead and google some, see if you can find anything worth retelling.

4. Costumes

This is the one day a year you get an excuse to dress like a total slut, don't take it for granted, because come the next day your outfit is sure to be against every dress code ever made.

5. Scary Movies

I am a huge weeny, but that doesn't mean come Halloween time I won't bust out the scariest movies out there.

This is the month where it's acceptable to watch nothing but people getting brutally murdered, so live it up.

6. Children

Now, this may sound weird, but hear me out. While you are never too old to participate in Halloween activities, children are what make this holiday pretty cool.

From how creative their costumes are, to the creepy children in movies who kill people, as long as they aren't yours and you don't have to take care of them at the end of the night, they make Halloween a damn good time.

7. Disney Halloween Movies

From Hocus Pocus to Halloweentown, they are all perfection, and they all convince me that everyday should be Halloween.
