You are the most loyal of followers, most loyal of friends and the ride-or-die that we all wish we had. Even in the face of persecution and when things appeared to be hopeless, you were there, keeping the faith and ready to do whatever was necessary to serve your savior. You were the first to see Jesus upon his resurrection and the last to leave his side upon his crucifixion. Amen to you. When it comes to saintliness Mary Magdalene has everyone beat.

Woman who's womb was closed but was opened upon diligent prayer, sobbing and angst, you don't stop asking for what you desire until you receive it. If that means not eating and constant bitterness and relentless sadness, you will do what it takes until your wishes for a "man child" are answered. You are a testament to the fact that if you ask over and over and over and over and over again, you will get what you desire. Peculiarly, you did not even raise your son Samson but gave him away to be raised by priests and were very much content in this. Perhaps you working to achieve one of the highest statuses possible to a woman, conceiving a powerful boy that would become a powerful man. Congrats on working to one of the highest standards for your time. You go girl.

Not only were you a female Judge during Biblical times, you were also a strategist called in times of war. Your grace, power and accuracy in predicting Jael's role in ending the battle between Israel and Canaanites is noteworthy, to say the least, and so are you. Not to mention, you also have a song?
