Hello! My name is Shamon. I am a transfer student from Lansing Community College in Lansing Michigan. I am a Social Work major with a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, baking and watching natural hair tutorials on YouTube. I am very passionate about helping people from all backgrounds turn their dreams into a reality. In the future I plan on pursuing a career in Higher Education as a Social Worker, creating programs to help disadvantaged youth transition from high school to college. I love meeting new people and taking on new adventures. Welcome to SVSU!

Hi! I'm originally from North Branch, MI. I am studying Integrated Science for Secondary Education. I love camping and traveling with my family. I love summertime and am obsessed with Welsh Corgis. I enjoy being a Peer Advisor because I love helping others, and eventually I want to be a high school counselor or administrator. I am also involved with Catholics on Campus and Club Red Campus Ambassadors. Feel free to stop by and ask me a question or two!

Hey, I'm Ingo. I was born in Brazil, and have been living in the US for the past 3 years. This is my first year in SVSU, since I transferred from a school in California. I am absolutely crazy about sports, especially soccer and football. I also love movies, music and beach trips. I am definitely not a fan of freezing cold weather, so logically I came to Michigan. Smart decision. In spite of this, I do love Saginaw Valley and being a Peer Advisor, and my experiences so far have been great! If you're reading this paragraph, it means we have at least one thing in common, so please do not hesitate to stop me if you ever see me around the hallways, or stop by for a visit in the Academic Advisement Center.

Hello, friends! My name is Jeremy Flood, and I am in my third year here at SVSU. I am majoring in Communication and minoring in Business and Spanish. I am participating in the Foundation Scholars Program, serving as a Closed Member of Forever Red, and writing for The Valley Vanguard, SVSU's newspaper. I am pursuing a career in Higher Education and Student Affairs, and love everything I'm involved in here at SVSU. I love golfing in my spare time, as well as following and playing other sports. I enjoy hanging out with friends, and traveling across Michigan. I am a geek about Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lost, and The Office. More importantly, I love doing everything I can to make everyday a great day to be a Cardinal!

I'm a Mechanical Engineering major in my 3rd year here at SVSU. I grew up in the small village of New Lothrop where I also attended high school. I love the outdoors and spending time with animals. I enjoy taking care of my horse, Lightning, and taking him on long treks through the wilderness. I am a huge Star Wars fan and am always down for a Star Wars movie marathon. I also really enjoy building different Lego sets, almost all of which are Star Wars Legos. I absolutely love reading, some of my favorite books are Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, The Sword of Truth, and of course.. Star Wars. Some of the organizations I'm involved with on campus are, Student Association where I sit as a representative of the students, Residential Life where I'm an RA for the FYS in G-House, and I am a Peer Advisor in the Academic Advisement Center. One of the many reasons why I love working with first year students is the fact that I get to help so many different types of people all trying to start their college career. I also really enjoy meeting so many new people and making lasting connections with students all over campus."
