This Instagram Creator Posts Makeup Looks Inspired By Popular Bollywood Songs And They're Absolutely Spectacular

Talk about taking creativity to the next level!

If you've been a longtime reader of BuzzFeed India, you've probably met Divya Premchand before. Divya is a 22-year-old NRI influencer who lives in Dubai and posts the most creative and striking makeup looks on her Instagram.

Back in 2020, we featured Divya's fantastic makeup series that was inspired by some of India's favourite snacks. And just when we thought that she couldn't possibly outdo herself, Divya has come up with yet another project wherein she visualises Bollywood songs she loves and grew up listening to.

Ergo, here's Divya's take on "Mirchi" by Divine, Stylo G, MC Altaf, and Phenom.

And here's a quick tutorial that also contains details of all the products she's used for her "lewk":

And here's a breathtaking visual representation of "Morni Banke" from the movie Badhaai Ho.

"Titli" from Chennai Express always makes me nostalgic. But Divya's visual rendition of the song is perhaps even better than the actual number.

Here's a stunning visualisation of "Genda Phool" from Delhi-6.

I have to be honest, this version of "Tip Tip Barsa Paani" is simply out of this world.

Divya has managed to add more beauty to the absolutely beautiful "Jashn-E-Bahaaraa" from Jodhaa Akbar!

This visualisation of "Balam Pichkari" from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani makes me want to celebrate Holi right away.

And finally, here's her interpretation of "Nimbooda Nimbooda", a childhood favourite from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

BuzzFeed spoke to Divya about her inspiration behind this utterly innovative series. "Bollywood has been a part of my life, especially since being away from India, this was the closest I could get. Living in Dubai, where loads of cultures meet, Bollywood has actually bonded us. I just knew that this series would help me connect with my audience and I gave it a shot. Also this series is where I took my editing and makeup way out of my comfort zone," explained Divya.

Well, all we can say is, you go, girl! Thank you for your phenomenal work.
