Book Lover Seeks Same: Strand Book Store (w4m)

In New York, missed connections happen every day: you smile at someone waiting for your coffee; you brush against someone on the subway; you reach for the same book at Strand. Inspired by the many Craigslist Missed Connections that happen in our store each year, we've re-enacted some of our favorite missed connections here!

"I know this is a long shot, but I met you shopping at the Strand..."

"Great books, everywhere I looked. Not hard to fall in love in that store. But I kept one eye out for you..."

"...looking through Pollack and Richard Serra books..."

"When it was about time to check out, and I was making my final selection off the best of the best table, we finally made eye contact and you smiled at me."

"I guess we are a little shy because we just laughed, said hello and then left the store without exchanging our information..."
