Matt LeBlanc Told A Story About The Trifle Episode Of "Friends" That Is Equally Hilarious And Horrifying

    WTF.

If you're a true fan of Friends, you've probably seen the infamous ~trifle episode~ more than a few times.

Well, as if eating a mixture of custard, lady fingers, and ground beef wasn't gross enough, Matt LeBlanc just shared a behind-the-scenes tale that somehow makes this whole thing even grosser.

"You know, there's a really funny story with that," the actor said while visiting The Graham Norton Show this week.

The good news is, Matt revealed that the actors on set weren't actually eating that nasty-ass trifle:

What we were actually eating was not that...It was just, like, whipped cream and some bananas or something.

But unfortunately for Matt, he ended up eating something much, much grosser instead: David Schwimmer's pre-chewed, spit-out banana mush.

In the scene, Ross is supposed to stuff his face with the trifle to prove how much he likes it.

"But there was too much on his plate," Matt explained. "So he starts to eat it all, and he can't finish it, and he starts laughing. So we cut."

"And as we're cutting, he kinda spits it back onto his plate. And I'm sitting next to him, and I'm looking the other way. I didn't see him spit it back onto the plate."

"So I take his plate...and I scrape some on my plate. I go, 'Here, let's go again.'"

"And now I'm eating it. And we finish the take. No one says anything to me."

According to Matt, he had no idea what he'd just done — until he was watching the blooper reel at the show's wrap party.

Safe to say we'll never be able to watch this episode the same way again!
