Hey, remember when Kendall Jenner fixed America by giving a police officer an ice-cold, refreshing Pepsi®?
Back in April, Kendall starred in a highly controversial ad campaign for the brand, in which she left a modeling shoot to join some sort of rally, recreated a famous image from a Black Lives Matter protest, and proved we're all only one soda can away from ending police brutality.
The ad was quickly pulled, but not before receiving major backlash — even from the daughter of Martin Luther King Jr., Bernice King.
At the time, many people called for Kendall to apologize, but the model never released any sort of statement on the issue.
Last month, Kim Kardashian tried to explain her sister's silence on the matter, but it...didn't do much to help:
I'm just like, "This is wrong. You need to speak up." [Kendall] was like, "I don't ever want to show that footage of me crying." She was trying to not make excuses or be dramatic, but that was what she was going through at the time.
