I Tried The Trump Taco Bowl So You Dont Have To

Hi, I'm Stephanie, and I recently visited New York City for the first time!

This is me, extremely excited to be there.

This is Republican Presidential Nominee, Donald Trump.

Currently he is traveling the country running for President, but usually he resides high atop Trump Tower in New York City.

Back in May, Trump sent out this tweet, which quickly garnered a lot of attention.

So, during my inaugural visit, I knew I had to try the taco bowl that has been talked about so much.

Me outside of Trump Tower holding a sign that references my Alma Mater, Georgia Southern University.

I'm very excited to find out if the salad lives up to the hype. I'm also very hungry.

Trump Grill is located in a corner of the Atrium in Trump Tower.

There's a little fence around the tables so it kind of felt like being in a cage. This is my husband and I seated at our table.

This is what the menu looks like. The seal seems ... fancy?

Seemed a little pompous for a brunch/lunch restaurant, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

After quite a long wait, the bowl was delivered!

This happiness did not last long.

This. Was. Not. Good.

There was some type of liquid that completely soaked it which I am assuming was a dressing but honestly just tasted like water. I only ate it because I was very hungry, and the cost was $18.

I do not see this being something Donald Trump would actually eat, unless he is savvy enough to know to order it without the liquid.

Summary: Do better, Donald.

I still ❤ NYC!
