    Building A Giant Wingback Chair From Scratch!

    My wife wanted a wingback chair, so I decided to make one from scratch with leftover materials. I winged it (lol) and did not follow any guides. I had to purchase brass nails, staples, foam, and fabric. AND THEN I MADE A CHAIR.

    Some leftover 2x6 boards

    Legs from extra 2x4's

    A spare piece of plywood, cut to a hand-drawn shape with a jigsaw

    OH ITS A CHAIR.

    1x3's for back supports, some foam purchased for the seat

    More purchased foam and leftover stuffing

    Purchased fabric stapled down and a cat

    Staple-gun party

    Foam stapled with fabric stapled over it

    Leftover floor underlayment stapled for edges

    Side fabric stapled on

    Not the cleanest stapling

    STAPLES!

    Wrapped and stapled for the arms

    Outside fabric sewn and stapled on.

    Leftover faux leather nailed down

    Ta-da!

    It's intentionally oversized and a bit eccentric.
