1. Driving in, the road looks like this. Google maps says it should take you 4h34min from Marrakech. Google maps lies. It will take you like 7 hours. MINIMUM.
2. You can take a bus. But why do that, when every thirty minutes you will want to stop and take pictures of this:

5. Okay, so maybe the reason it took us so long was the photo breaks...
6. When you finally get to town, you will start to see these insanely large ROCKS.
7. There is only one good restaurant in town. But I highly recommend the street vendors' fresh hot donuts.
8. You should also purchase THE FUNKIEST SHOES ever, handmade right in front of your eyes. I got a pair of red ones for $10 USD, no bartering required.
9. The next morning, go check out the crazy rock formations.
10. That one is called Napoleon's Hat. It looks best if you climb something tall and far away.
11. There are also some really big rocks that a Belgian guy painted blue in 1984.
12. They are totally climb-able. This is the view from the top.
13. After lunch, you can hit the road to go oasis hunting.
14. Don’t get too excited by the first little sign of water you see. You’re only just getting started.
15. Eventually, you will be deep in palm-tree land.
16. Never has the hot Moroccan sun seemed so bearable.
17. THE TREES NEVER STOP.
18. Well, when you get sick of trees, head home. I recommend stopping by the beach like we did. 10 points if you can find the camels.
