Why You Should See Nick Carter's All American Tour ASAP

I've been a Nick Carter fan since I was 4 years old when Millennium came out...That's 17 years of love right there. Seeing him solo was a dream come true. I saw him this past weekend in Boston and it was life changing. I was lucky enough to be in the second row. I took all these pictures and videos. You gotta get yourself a ticket ASAP. It's amazing, I promise!

Nick's Sense of Style

Nerd + 90s boy band member = the adorably sexy man you see standing before you. Some people aren't able to rock the thick rimmed glasses, but Nick totally can. A few songs into the show, he told everyone they didn't actually have lenses in them. Nick and his fake glasses are adorable. He's basically the human form of the emoji with glasses. Never change, Nicky!

This was Nick's second look. I wasn't expecting wardrobe changes, but I'm so happy he surprised me with this sexy lumberjack look. Who knew boy band members could rock plaid like this? Certainly not me!

Nick's final look was a sexy boat captain...maybe he's an airline pilot? I don't know. It's a subjective thing. Either way, he looks fantastic. Who knew boy band members could be sexy boat captains too? Actually, the larger question we should be asking is, who knew boy band members could be sexy nerds, sexy lumberjacks, and sexy boat captains? Nick is a special guy for being able to pull off all these looks, in addition to having his killer voice.

Backstreet Classics

We all know and love Nick from the Backstreet Boys, and while this is his solo tour, he still rocks out to classic BSB songs. He knows how much we love the nostalgia, and I think he loves seeing how excited everyone still gets over hearing "I Want It That Way". During his acoustic set, while dresses as a sexy lumberjack, Nick sang "I Want It That Way", "Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely", and "As Long As You Love Me". I was over the moon! There's something so special about hearing these hits live that I just can't explain. During Nick's encore, he sang "Everybody" and the crowd went nuts accordingly. Everyone, myself included, loves that song. While Nick indulged us with BSB classics, he put a little bit of a rock spin on them. Some people might think its weird or not ok to mess with a classic, but those people are wrong. Listen and see what I mean.

A Rock Feel

Remember that rock sorta feel I mentioned above? Well, its also present in his solo songs. A lot of people characterize boy band members as only being able todo bubblegum pop music, but Nick proves those people wrong. Listen to him sing All American and play his guitar. In the middle of the song, he starts singing "Jessie's Girl" and it flows so well. It elevates All American to the rock anthem that we all need in our lives.

Intimate Setting

When you think of Backstreet Boys tours, I'm sure you think of huge venues like Madison Square Garden. Thankfully, Nick went with with much smaller concert spaces. He created a much more intimate experience for everyone there. It definitely made the show better. My show was at the House of Blues in Boston and I was able to get really close to Nick. I took this picture toward the end of the show when Nick was talking to us about the inspiration behind some of the songs on his new album and thanking us for supporting him for so long. Look how happy he is! My heart is so full from that smile!

The New Music Is Awesome

When you're part of a group with several hits, you're expected to keep making hit music. It's a lot of pressure to be under. That being said, Nick rises to the occasion. Not only is his music good, its awesome and its fun. Anyone can get into it, whether you're a BSB fan or not. Play this video and you'll see what I mean.

Nick Is A Sweetheart

In case no one's told you yet, Nicholas Gene Carter is a sweetheart. You can tell he's so passionate about his work and you can't help but love him and his music more because of it. He's grown up to be such a talented, kind, put together guy. Watching him work his magic on the stage is so special. Special is the best way for me to describe it. You need to watch him perform to see what I mean. In addition to being dedicated, Nick is hilarious. Just look at this face! I think he was secretly hoping no one would catch this. Hehe. Honestly though, seeing Nick was a dream come true. I've seen him with the group but never solo. I've loved him since I was 4, for 17 years, and this was a dream come true.
