This is from when NKOTB first got back together in 2008. They originally began working together in 1986, then broke up in 1994. You're going to notice that Joey's beautiful blue eyes will be a theme throughout this post because its one of my favorite things about him. In this picture, you get a bonus New Kid: Donnie Wahlberg. He's the founding member of NKOTB.

Since getting back together in 2008, every year NKOTB does a cruise with 3000 fans. I went in 2014. It was crazy! This is from the 2013 cruise. Joey has a thing for fedora hats.

I told his his breathtaking eyes would be a theme! You should see them up close. I have met this lovely man 8 times (so far) and every single time he looks at me with those beautiful eyes, I am mesmerized. This is from the 2013 Package Tour when NKOTB toured with 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men.

Joey's microphone is the one with the blue tape. Jordan Knight's is red, Donnie Wahlberg's is yellow, Danny Wood's is green, and Jonathan Knight's is orange. Its the same system every year, and you come to appreciate it because you can tell who's going to stand where during the shows. That's where the differentiation ends though. All the guys wear matching black tank tops, really nailing the boy band aesthetic. This picture is from 2013 or 2014.

I stole this picture from Joey's instagram. Its from this past summer when NKOTB was on tour in North America. He's somewhere in the south, I want to say Florida. Wherever he is, he's obviously amused by it, and it's so cute.

This picture is special to me because my dad took it. I dragged my entire family, my parents and younger brother to an NKOTB concert. They are good people for sitting through my craziness. Actually, this was the Boston Strong Concert held in May 2013, to celebrate the strength and recovery of Boston after the Marathon Bombings. It was an emotional show, especially because Joey ran the marathon that year and I watched him cross the finish line. This picture was taken during his speech about growing up in Boston and what this city means to him. At the end he notes, "Love crushes hate every single time."

If you ask any Joey girl what her favorite part of a New Kids' show is, she'll say, "when Joey sings 'please don't go girl.'" I'm no different. This picture is from this past summer, during PDGG. The entire audience, for every night of the tour, is in tears by the end of this song.

2014: the year I went on an NKOTB cruise. For 4 nights in a row, I stayed up until 4 am partying with the guys on the deck. Each night has a theme, and the theme when this picture was taken was cowboy night. I took this picture of Joey, because, quite frankly, he's a really sexy cowboy.

I chose this as the past picture because it is particularly near and dear to my heart. This was taken when Joey attended a benefit dinner to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer's Disease. He's been involved with the Alzheimer's Association for a while now, ever since his mom got diagnosed. Unfortunately, she passed away in 2014. Joey continues to amazing work to honor her memory and help those who continue to suffer form the disease.
