It's funny. It's lighthearted. It's written by Tina Fey. But most importantly, it's not your Chem 101 final.

3. Grey's Anatomy (11 seasons)

95% of the show is complicated love lives and a lot of drama. But the other 5% can definitely count as studying for the human phys. Stop watching after Season 7 for your sanity though.

4. The Office (9 seasons)

Your future employer will never be as eccentric as Michael Scott. But maybe that's a good thing.

5. Friday Night Lights (5 seasons)

Yes, it's about football, but it's not about football. It's about the ~team~ and ~life lessons.~ And don't worry, you totally won't ~cry.~

6. The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (1 season)

Upsides? Ellie Kemper is a goddess. The show is hilarious. PINOT NOIRRR.

Downside? Only 1 season :(

7. The West Wing (7 seasons)

It's your daily dose of idealistic liberalism, mixed with slightly outdated references to things like DOMA and dial-up internet.

8. Scandal (4 seasons)

Nothing to put your calc final in perspective like the problems in this show. After all, it's not like your dad is the head of a super secret spy organization or you're sleeping with the President of the United States.

9. Gilmore Girls (7 seasons)

We can't all be perfect, over-achieving witty Ivy League students like Rory. But we're probably going to have to crack open a book to try.

10. One Tree Hill (9 seasons)

This show is the junk food of television. Don't expect much logic or semblance of reality but at least Chad Michael Murray is at his peak. And you never know what's coming next.

11. Parks and Rec (7 seasons)

Can we count this as studying for both political science and ecology? Survey says yes.

12. Parenthood (6 seasons)

This show is the perfect cover for those "It's 2 am. I'm hella sleep deprived and my grades are ruined" tears. Because, really, who hasn't cried over Parenthood before?

13. Dance Moms (5 seasons)

Same, Vivi-Anne. Same.

14. House of Cards (3 seasons)

Who needs to read Macbeth when you have Frank and Claire Underwood? It's basically the same thing.

15. How I Met Your Mother (9 seasons)
