We Need To Talk About Deepika Padukone's Instagram For Like Five Minutes

    In too deep-ika.

Hello, welcome to this post. I will be needing some of your time to talk about something that has been bothering me for a while. Please look at this:

Now look at some of Deepika Padukone’s recent Instagrams.

Notice a pattern in the captions?

Deepika has been referring to herself in third person for the past couple of months. Here's some more evidence:

Am I the only one who finds this odd?

Why has Deepika tagged herself in her own Instagram? For whose benefit?

Deepika speaks of herself with such proper reverence, she sounds like her own fan.

Her Instagram is full of posts where she is paying homage to her resplendent self.

THIS is one of Deepika's Instagram. I ain't lying.

But there used to be a time when Deepika didn't think she was worthy of all the praise that came her way through her.

Back then, she didn't distance herself from her.

Back then, she was pro-free usage of the pronoun, "me".

Back then, she was the one running the show.

What if Deepika made a caption about Deepika, called "I Miss The Old Deepika," man that would be so Deepika!

Let us hope that someday we'll get to live in a world free of illeism in Deepika's Instagram captions.
