Which TV Moment Is So Clever, You Can't Believe Someone Thought Of It?

I'm looking at you, This Is Us.

There's nothing better than watching a really smart TV show with moments or scenes that make you think, "Wow, that is such a clever idea."

(Be prepared for some minor spoilers ahead, y'all.)

For me, I remember getting that feeling when Jack died in This Is Us, and there was a split-second flashback to young Jack as Rebecca sobbed while staring at his lifeless body.

That flicker of young Jack was perfect, like Rebecca was trying to preserve her memory of him or something. She went back to her earliest memory of him, and he was gone in the blink of an eye, as if she was trying to relive their whole relationship. What a brilliant touch to an incredible scene.

Perhaps you were on the edge of your seat during the Mad Men finale, prepared to be so upset with how things ended, but when the show cut to that iconic Coca Cola advert your jaw dropped.

This whole scene is fantastic for several reasons. First, you're prepared to be enormously let down by an ending where Don Draper just sits at a mountainside. He smiles, and you think it's because he found peace within himself, but then the famous Coke advertisement starts to play, and you realize he smiled because he came up with a brilliant commercial idea.

Or maybe you watched Fleabag and literally screamed when The Priest broke the fourth wall, because you just didn't think that was allowed or even possible.

I gassssppppeeeddddd when The Priest first turned to the camera. I couldn't stop smiling. He saw Fleabag for who she truly was and he understood her and that's why they could break the fourth wall together. After I finished the series, I thought to myself, "Phoebe Waller-Bridge is so freaking clever."

Whatever it is, we want to hear it! In the comments below, tell us which TV moments were so smart or clever that they literally made you think, "Wow, that was such a good touch."
