13 Things That Actually Make Sense At Kent Place School

1. Seeing girls fight it out for the last bagel in the lounge is nothing out of the ordinary.

2. Getting below an A minus on any test is completely unacceptable

Basically getting a "bad" grade means you'll fail all of your classes and you won't get into college and you'll die alone. Prepare yourself for the worst because your life is basically over.

3. Are boys even real?

Kent Place girls don't know very many boys, so when someone does know a boy it's like the birth of Jesus. People tend to freak out... so don't even think about boys unless you're prepared for a lot of giggling and excitement.

4. "Scholar Leader" is basically your middle name.

5. Seeing people sitting on other people is nothing out of the ordinary.

People love their friends a lot at Kent Place. It's unusual when people aren't giving each other piggy back rides or sitting on each other's laps.

7. Spirit Week is basically holy week at Kent Place.

When Spirit Week rolls around nothing is weird. If you see Troy Bolton walking around don't get too excited, it's probably just a senior in her costume. Literally, people will do or wear anything just to win some points.

8. It's not unlikely to hear someone ask for feminine products in the middle of math class.

11. When someone forgets advisory snack it's basically the start World War III.

God forbid you're the one who wakes up too late to stop at Manhattan Bagel before school because you do NOT want to be on the other side of room full of hangry girls. (yes, I said hangry... because those girls are hungry and they'll most definitely be angry.)

12. Everyday is a competition to see who stayed up latest the night before.

Admitting that you got more than 5 hours of sleep is basically social suicide. But taking a nap in the lounge is fine, it shows how scholarly you were last night when you stayed up until 4 A.M. writing that History essay.

13. Passing off leggings as pants is a Kent Place girls' expertise.

A skirt can never be too short and pants can never be too tight for a Kent Place girl. Honestly, it can be hard to find a girl who's 100% in dress code. But don't tell anyone that they're out of dress code because they'll either scream at you or say they don't care. There's no winning.
