GLUTEN - FREE.. I Don't Know About You But I'm Confused?

Was doing a little research into the 'gluten free' lifestyle, as you do, because I've have seen it all over Pinterest lately. It's been endorsed by celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Miranda Kerr and many many many more…. (I just searched 'Gluten free celebrities' and got a list so long it would make your eyes water!)

But there have also been articles claiming that this lifestyle doesn't work, isn't safe and should only be used as a treatment for coeliacs disease. The reasons given are that gluten free products actually often have a higher fat content than the original 'gluten - filled' product.

My problem is this, I don't see 'Ms. Paltrow popping down to the store buying 'Gluten free bread rolls, Let's be honest here - The celebrities are cutting out all the nice things! not buying the 'fatty' equivalent.

Don't get me wrong, the way celebrities stick to these crazy diets is some kind of willpower but not necessarily something to be admired. (I mean, No pizza? Seriously.)

But if you want a body like Miley Cyrus cut out the bread rolls and twerk 'till your hearts content.

Is a gluten free diet bad for you? I'm no expert but if it's used to treat a medical condition it can't be all bad.

Is stocking up on a crazy amount of 'gluten - free' pasta a good next move?… Probably not.
