Thousands Love This Woman's Facebook Post About The Love Between India And Pakistan
"We are like a divorced couple, sharing space, constantly bickering over who lost out in the settlement, unable to finally come to terms with the fact that we are no longer together."
This is 29-year-old Pakistani resident, Alizay Jaffer. On September 29, she wrote a Facebook post about a conversation with a friend from India regarding the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan.
She started by highlighting how the strange sibling-like dynamic and love for Bollywood films has defined the relationship between the two countries.
She goes on to explain that despite the jingoism and news of war surrounding us, it's the acts of love and friendship that remain fresh in our memory.
She went on to say that love will also be a more important issue to address than war.
