This is 24-year-old Bengaluru based artist, Anusha Raichur.

Earlier this month, she started a series dedicated to the LGBT community in India.

"I want to spread more awareness about the LGBT community — especially bisexuals and transgender people," Raichur told BuzzFeed.

"They don't know the difference between people who identify as transgender and transsexuals in most cases. They aren't aware of how hard the transition can be or the issues they face," she added.

"They don't realise a lot of the LGBT community has to live in the dark and hide their identities from even their closest friends and family," she said.
