This Nepali Director Alleges Shirish Kunder's Latest Short Film Is Lifted From His Own

He's probably trying to pull a Tees Maar Khan again.

In a Facebook note written yesterday, Nepali filmmaker, Aneel Neupane said that his short film, BOB, was eerily similar to Bollywood director Shirish Kunder's short film, Kriti.

Kunder released his film on YouTube on June 22, which has 1.3 million views so far.

However, Neupane had uploaded his film on Vimeo seven months back, and on YouTube earlier this year in May.

Both films are about schizophrenic men who think they have fallen in love with imaginary women.

"The intro shots are the same, the underlying plot is the same, the characters are basically the same, he just changed the gender of the doctor," Neupane told BuzzFeed.

"Honestly, I don't even have a copyright registered for the film and I'm clueless as to what I can do," he added.

A Twitter user even pointed the similarities in the shots with evidence.

Shirish Kunder clarified his stance on the allegations with these tweets.

This is the full note that Neupane has written:
