Today's Stunning Google Doodle Honours This Classical Indian Dancer

    What a woman.

Today's stunning Google doodle honours Rukmini Devi Arundale, one of India’s pioneers in classical dance from the 1930s and founder of its largest art institution, Kalakshetra.

She was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 1956 and the Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowship in 1967.
