An Indian Designer's Website Crashed After The Duchess Of Cambridge Was Seen In A Dress By Her

    While on her six-day India tour, the Duchess of Cambridge has been on point with her sartorial choices.

    Early in her trip, Kate was spotted playing cricket with Mumbai children while wearing this Anita Dongre dress.

    She was wearing the Gulrukh tunic dress by the Indian designer on Sunday during a cricket match at Oval Maidan in Mumbai. According to this Wall Street Journal article, Dongre wasn’t even aware of the duchess wearing the dress till she saw pictures of her wearing it on the cricket field.

    Soon enough, Anita Dongre was answering people's queries about the dress.

    As luck would have it, the demand ensured that the website crumbled under the pressure of all the orders rushing in.

    The same article claimed that with requests coming in from as far as Australia and even Brazil, production for the dress has gone up five-fold and up to 1,000 pieces will be made. “The factory is just producing the dress now. Everyone is focusing on that. It is all we are producing now,” Dongre said.
