These Mumbai Boys Are Trying To Go To New York To Show Off Their Sick Ballet Skills

In a recent photo series, Homegrown featured two unlikely ballet dancers: 15-year-old Amiruddin Shah and 21-year-old Manish Chauhan, from Navi Mumbai.

Both boys have been trained under the watchful eye of their teacher, Yehuda Ma'or, an Israeli-American dance teacher at Danceworx Academy in Mumbai.

Ma'or, impressed by the boys' talents, sent their dance videos to the Joffrey Ballet School.

"We didn't have the money to travel to the U.S., so one of our classmates suggested that we start a fundraising campaign online for the same," Chauhan told BuzzFeed.

There is no question about their talent because, look at them fly.

As the boys prepare for their U.S. visa applications, they cannot stop thanking their teacher for all his help.

"Yehuda sir has been the one to push us forward and make us get better at what we do. Now, a company in California wants me to join them for some time after my time in New York as well," Manish said.

Right now, they have collected $4,500 from the $8,000 required for their trip.
